We all have it. We all need it to live. What is this vital element? It's BLOOD.

We hope you never need it...
but,if you do,
Miller-Keystone Blood Center
will be there for you

Strong Communities Are Built On Safe Blood. As a not-for-profit organization, Miller-Keystone Blood Center relies on the generosity of community businesses and individuals to help us achieve our goals and remain true to our mission statement. We are privileged to have volunteer blood donors who roll up their sleeves to provide the community with the gift of life, and we remain grateful to all the volunteers who donate their time or talent to ensure a safe and productive blood center. However, the Blood Center needs financial support to achieve our goals as well.

The Blood Center has designated the funds from our 2006-2007 Annual Appeal toward the purchase of Automated Cell Processors (ACP's) - state-of-the-art equipment that will prolong the storage of frozen blood products an additional 10 days in the event of a disaster or an epidemic. In the event of a crisis, terrorist attack or flu pandemic, our blood inventory could be significantly disrupted. However, frozen blood resulting from the purchase of ACP's, represents a valuable crisis management tool for supplementing the blood supply.

Our goal is to raise $135,000 over the next year to purchase this equipment, and this type of support is a 100% tax-deductible gift or pledge. We hope you will consider making a contribution to Miller-Keystone Blood Center. Through your support and generosity, we can remain a pillar of the community.
