Each year, more than 100 volunteers support the Blood Center's annual "Cruise Aboard the LifeLine" fundraiser, serving in a variety of roles, including blackjack dealers, casino attendants and greeters, as well as runners, floaters, or other duties as needed. Volunteer shifts run from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, and 8:00pm-10:00 pm, and some positions may require pre-event training. In exchange for their support, volunteers are provided with the opportunity to sample the excellent Cruise cuisine and take part in the casino games and other Cruise activities at no cost.
